Parenting

 I think parents need to realize that their kids also grow and turn into adults, and so they should change their methods of approach with time. A parent yells at a 25 year old son as if he's confronting a 10 year old and with the African setting, talking back to a parent is a sacrilege. I believe once someone has hit those years, they are adults too, and everyone makes mistakes. This entitlement thing of that "you're my kid, I saw you from day one" should be eradicated and stopped. Kids grow up and start thinking the same way as adults do. Everyone makes mistakes and they also notice the mistakes that their parents do.  Yelling at kids in Africa has been a very common vice with stereotypes that kids should not talk back whether they are wrong or right. They did not know the after effects of this. Kids end up growing up with self esteem issues because of the trauma experienced in childhood.
